Mumbai: An unexpected and surprisingly beautiful weekend

I'd never expect to fly to India with such a short notice, but I ended up spending my weekend in Mumbai. I was a bit uncomfortable with the idea of visiting India at first, as I could not envision its energy. Once I landed there though, all my worries vanished in a heartbeat: I was surrounded by beautiful vibes and had the opportunity to spend a full day all around Mumbai. I started from the Gateway of India, then I went on to visit Victoria Terminus and ended up spending some time at the Crawford Market. It was a 5km walk. Lastly, I decided to spend the afternoon in Bandra West, along the "posh" Carter Road, stopping by at Mount Mary Church with a short break at the Portuguese Fort. I had dinner at Pali Bhavan, a beautiful restaurant around Pali Hill, to then go back to my hotel by tuk-tuk. And that was all, short but beautiful.
