Introduction

Street Glimpses website is operated under the individual ownership of Alessandro Abate. Street Glimpses will process personal information as a Data Controller, including personal data provided to Street Glimpses, or its associated Data Processors or other persons processing the data on behalf of Street Glimpses.

Purposed and legal basis for processing  

You can visit Street Glimpses website and/or contact them without providing any personal data about yourself. However, in case you request specific information or services provided by Street Glimpses, there may be the need to collect personal data which will be processed before starting any business relationship or to guarantee the continuation of an already established business relationship, including the purposes described hereunder.

Street Glimpses or its associated Data Processors or other persons processing the data on behalf of Street Glimpses may also process personal data for legal purposes that may include anti-money laundering checks and related actions which Street Glimpses considers appropriate to be complying with any legal obligations imposed on Street Glimpses as prevention of fraud, money laundering, corruption, tax related crimes, bribery, terrorist financing, and to prevent services to persons who may be subject to economic, trade or political sanctions. Failure to provide personal data when Street Glimpses expressly requires that to be in compliance with any other legal requirements, implies that the individual may not be able to establish and/or continue any business relationship with Street Glimpses. 

Street Glimpses or its Data Processors may monitor and record calls and any form of electronic communications for investigation and fraud prevention purposes, for crime detection, prevention, investigation and prosecution, and to enforce or defend Street Glimpses and its Data Processors’ rights, itself or through third parties to whom such responsibility or right is delegated in order to comply with a legal obligation imposed on Street Glimpses.

Street Glimpses or its Data Processors may also disclose personal information if they assess in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect their rights and pursue available remedies, enforce their terms and conditions, investigate fraud, or protect their operations and/or clients.

Data recipient and international data transfer

During the processing of personal data to carry out money laundering and identity checks and to comply with legal obligations, Street Glimpses or its Data Processors may disclose the personal data to other third-party information providers; and to all the competent authorities, courts and bodies according to the law or to third-parties for purposes of internal investigations and reporting. 

The disclosure of personal data to third parties as described above may imply the data transfer to jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area to countries that may not have the same degree of data protection as set out by the laws of the European Economic Area. 

Retention period

Street Glimpses will retain personal data for as long as it is required for the purposes for which the data was collected, depending on the legal basis for which that data was obtained and/or whether additional legal/regulatory obligations mandate that Street Glimpses retains the personal data. 

Security and integrity of data

Street Glimpses uses security measures in order to protect the personal data they collect, use or transfer from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. It is worthwhile pointing out though, that due to the open and unsecured environment of the Internet, Street Glimpses cannot be held responsible for the security of transmissions of the personal data over the Internet.

Data subject rights

To the extent provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) or any further provision that is comparable in substance thereto, each individual has the right to request access to their personal data, rectification or erasure of their personal data, restriction of the use of their personal data and to object to the processing of their personal data. 

If the individual considers that Street Glimpses or its Data Processors have processed personal data in violation of the GDPR and failed to remedy such violation to the individual’s satisfaction, the individual may raise a complaint with the European Information Commissioner’s Office
